As you may know, I have been working as a colour stylist / Image Consultant for 12 years now with the explicit mission to make people sparkle. The trick is to bring out the undertone of the skin and create blushes on the cheeks. All this to create a healthy, strong and prosperous impression to the outside world.
Unfortunately, there could be no greater "colour drama" imaginable than the colour gray as used in “jogging fabric”. This mixed gray has the connotation of healthy sports, wide lakes (with related sailing yachts), relaxed lounging or your high performance in the gym. But this image, originating from the US, is unfortunately completely at odds with reality.
Very, very occasionally there has been a summer type who could wear this colour, but in general it is not recommended. With, for example, warm colour types, the colour dies out acutely, unfortunately leading to pipse pale noses or other morbid drama.
The gray colours used in the richer collections that are now “up and coming” are very different.
A cashmere hoodie, a T-shirt of refined Merino wool-silk melange in the right weave in (read clear) light gray or dark gray colour will provide you with an extremely luxurious casual or business look.
Blueprint Styling can provide wardrobes that are produced in a fully responsible manner. Blueprint Styling works with animal-free make-up. Do you prefer vegan, then this is of course taken into account.
