“Statement Pumps”

Why does one pump make our figure sparkle and the other pump make us stumble painfully clumsily? What exactly is the difference?

My great-grandfather always said "better a cheap Bally than an expensive Bata" and he was right. 

The more expensive brands are much more comfortable. In addition, they will ensure us that our legs protrude elegantly above this footwear. But how exactly does this work?

First of all, there is a huge difference in the use of materials. A better pump, if properly maintained, will last 10 to 15 years. They fit like a glove. A double layer of higher quality leather, a built-up heel (in layers, not plastic) and extra reinforcement in the heel (not cardboard) ensure durability. But especially the way they are manufactured is important.

A heel right under the shoe will stretch our calves in a beautiful and elegant way.

The arch to the heel should be a gentle arch. If this bow is too "style", then we are in trouble. We could end up as tormented "beauty slaves", because all the weight is on the forefoot. Pretty impossible.  You probably only can wear these in your own domain with a maximum distance of eight meters. You won't get much further with it.

If you like to make a good business statement with your shoes, better not choose suede. Choose leather (polishable) and don't choose a round or square nose. This makes the legs unnecessarily short and does not look powerful. A low heel is unfortunately not done, but don't worry because there are pumps available with an invisible, built-in platform.

Fortunately, if you have difficult feet, there are also elegant alternatives.

For those who really like to walk comfortably on high pumps, there are "stewardess pumps". These have built-in footbeds. The brand "Skypro" is therefore recommended.

Beautiful high pumps remain elegant. And walking from the car or train to the office, a penny loafer or ballerina will do the job. Nobody notices it.

Boots unfortunately have a casual look and are quite informal.

Have fun walking. It's really possible.
