A bit loss of muscle mass is unfortunately an irreversible process starting from the age of thirty.
But no worries. Specific, long-term strength training and taking in sufficient protein helps us to maintain muscle mass. It goes without saying that you retain your beautiful shoulder line, biceps and chest (that are so appreciated by us women), but it may be that things come across as a bit more sinewy than before. There’s good news, because there is a lot to do in styling.
To prevent you from appearing too “skinny”, wearing flexible materials is a “better not”. The lambswool sweater or cardigan of a thinner quality no longer works. The same story are flowing T-shirts. If we start to see the bones and muscles a little too much, that is a bit pity.
If you are slimmer build, choose stiffer materials such as tweed, linen or a thicker cotton. Velvet (revival of the Seventies is coming according to Vogue!) and a thicker quality leather also will add a lot.
The double breasted jacket (always wear closed!) gives a wider look and is only suitable for the slim man. And so there are a lot more smart, but dazzling possibilities.
