Natural Woman

The best compliment a man can give to us women is that he makes us feel like a “natural beauty”. In the end, it's best to be appreciated in this way.

"He was flirting with me and I wasn't even wearing makeup" is about the biggest compliment for a woman. But that also requires caution.

How often do I hear men complain about the fact that their wives go to work in the most beautiful clothes, but once they are behind the front door, this sparkling outfit is replaced by a soggy and sometimes even slightly faded house suit.

During the wardrobe checks of my female clients, I often discover the worn-out black sweater or ditto sweatshirt, left over from a time that I call “a la recherge du temps perdu”, namely the student days.

This black sweater (nothing can be more harmful for your beauty than an old black sweater) is usually paired with somewhat faded leggings “that do fit so well”.

For those ladies who have not yet discovered the Valhalla of lounge wear: "You can do better!" Obviously you don't have to walk through the house every evening in sexy red lingerie with matching stockings and high pumps, but such a washed-out house suit is the other extreme and actually not friendly to the eye of your beloved partner.

Moreover, you can also spoil yourself for the evening with comfortable and chic clothes. You deserve that.

There is a lot to buy in the field of beautiful lounge wear. By that I do not mean such a semi T-shirt, long coloured with oh so "cheerful" print as a nightgown. Certainly not on velvet jogging outfits (often "thickeners"), but on high-quality, well-fitting trousers, tops, cardigans and more.

The recommendations are: Zara home, Marie Jo, Lascana, Rituals, Calvin Klein, Eberjey, Hanro (my absolute favorite), Mey or Sunday in bed. Beautiful, comfortable and in the right colours. And..Colours that don't suit you anymore, do not belong in your closet!
